Abstract

The article explores the history of the WorldSkills international movement, its mission, and its role in developing professional skills. It highlights the development of the movement in Kazakhstan, the organization of national and republican championships, and participants’ experiences and achievements. The author shares personal experiences of participating in regional and national competitions, improving pedagogical skills, and mentoring, demonstrating ways to enhance professional competencies. The article emphasizes WorldSkills’ contribution to enhancing youth professional skills, applying innovative methodologies, and preparing specialists for the labor market.
