Active learning methods as a means of developing speaking skills in high school

Abstract

Developing speaking skills in high school is crucial for real–life communication. Traditional methods focus on drills and memorization, which are insufficient for expressing opinions and participating in discussions. Active learning methods–such as discussions, role play, case studies, projects, and authentic materials–enhance engagement, creativity, and confidence in speaking.
