The study examines syntactic stylistic devices in the speech of Queen Elizabeth II in Season 1 of the television series The Crown (2016), focusing on the interaction between formal royal discourse and its artistic representation. The research analyzes syntactic constructions such as parallelism, repetition, inversion, ellipsis, enumeration, and rhetorical questions, revealing their role in shaping the monarch’s image. Particular attention is paid to how these devices convey authority, emotional restraint, and high social status. Methodologically, the study is based on a detailed syntactic and contextual analysis of selected dialogues and monologues. The findings confirm the significance of syntactic stylistic devices in expressing institutional roles, etiquette norms, and communicative strategies, as well as the value of television drama for studying stylistics and audiovisual discourse.
